November is a 3 month

On Sunday it is November, and November is a 3 month.

Here is how you get there, for anyone new to this.

2026 is a 1 year, because 2 plus 0 plus 2 plus 6 is 10, and 1 plus 0 is 1.

November is the eleventh month.

11 plus 1 is 12, and 1 plus 2 is 3.

So every one of us is living through a 3 month from Sunday, whatever our own numbers say.

After an 11 month, which was all intuition and nerves, the 3 is a breath out.

The 3 is the number of expression.

Words, creativity, play, friends, the dinner party that goes too late, the song you cannot stop humming. It is the child of the 1 and the 2, the new thing and the partnership, and like most children it wants to be heard.

The 3 likes to talk.

It likes to make things, and it likes to be seen making them.

It is the lightest number in the set, and after the year so far most of us could use some lightness.

Here is the twist this year.

The 3 is a number of words, and for the first two weeks of November, Mercury, the planet of words, is walking backwards.

So the month that wants to talk begins with the planet of talking going back over everything you have already said.

I think that is a gift, if you use it.

The 3 at its best is the true thing said beautifully.

The 3 at its worst is the clever thing said too quickly, the gossip, the joke at somebody’s expense, the promise made at a party and forgotten in the morning.

With Mercury retrograde until 13 November, the sky slows you down long enough to choose which one.

Say less, and say it well.

Then, from mid November, when Mercury and Venus both turn direct, let it all come out.

Now the shadow, because every number has one.

The 3 scatters.

Ten projects started and none finished. Lots of energy, very little of it landing. If that sounds like you this month, pick one thing and make it, start to finish, before you start anything else.

So the practice for November.

Make something with your hands, anything, a cake, a drawing, a garden bed.

Say one true thing a day to somebody you love.

And laugh, properly, at least once, because the 3 counts that as work.
