The Bigger Picture
Remember who you are.
That is the whole of this area in three words. Everything else in it is detail.
The big questions live here. Reincarnation, which I take as a fact, how it went missing from Christianity, and ten things you can take as given about your time here. What happens when we die, and where I believe we go. Seeing spirit, from the first time I saw one and pulled the covers over my head, to how you can learn to do it on purpose. The people taken too soon, and what I have found on the other side of that grief. Déjà vu and its four different kinds. The long cycles the whole species moves through, the hundredth monkey, and the question of where we actually come from, which I will lay out and let you sit with rather than argue about.
Some of this will fit what you already believe. Some of it will not. I am telling you what I have seen over a long life of looking, and you can weigh it against your own experience, which is the only test that counts.
If you have arrived here because someone has died, start with the piece on seeing spirit, and then the one on those taken too soon. They were written for you.
The pieces in this area
There are seventeen pages here. Read them slowly, and in whatever order the day needs.
Reincarnation starts from fact. How the teaching went missing at the Council of Nicaea, how I grew up in a Christian household and left religion about forty years ago, and the past life memories that came to me in 2021. It covers soul memory and how to jog it, and ten things you can take as given about your time here.
What Happens When We Die begins with our home being the spirit world. Where we actually live, the play ending and everyone in it sitting down to talk about it, and the stories end of life nurses and near death experiences bring back. It mentions Swedenborg's Heaven and Hell, explains why time works differently there, and ends with why you have nothing to fear.
Seeing Spirit is where to start if someone has died. The night a spirit head came up through my bed covers, why your peripheral vision sees what your centre vision misses, the arm test for your own range, and learning not to turn. It covers the other ways spirit makes itself known, how to reach out, and the one rule about attachment.
Taken Too Soon is written for new grief. It tells the story of my friend Ian, what his leaving gave me over many years, and the soul agreement. It covers how those we love still visit, and looking after yourself while you grieve.
Deja Vu and Its Four Kinds names the four: the Long Moment, Past Life, Higher Self and Clairvoyance, with a sixth kind, sort of, that comes with manifesting. It ends with plain questions for working out which one you had.
The Long Cycles and the Hundredth Monkey sets out cycles of about twenty six thousand years and the move from a patriarchal age into a matriarchal one. Then it tells the hundredth monkey story of how a change like that spreads, and where you come in.
Where We Come From is laid out to sit with. Home, the three kinds of memory, the "I am not of this world" exercise and ten things to sit with. It covers the pull of the stars and Sirius, a little of what I have seen myself, and being one and many at the same time.
The Wheel of the Year turns the eight old festivals around for the Southern Hemisphere, with Perth dates, and each festival has its own page: Midsummer, Lughnasadh, Mabon, Samhain, Yule, Imbolc, Ostara and Beltane. Solstices and Equinoxes in Perth gives the four turning points of 2027 to the minute, with sunrise, sunset and how to watch them from your own back step.
The Akashic Records looks at the idea of a library holding everything every soul has done, where the name came from, how I understand it through the higher self, the ordinary ways people reach it, and how to check what comes through.
What Would You Do? begins deep in meditation with a being who offers to take you one hundred years into the future. Sitting with the offer, what a yes or a no says about you, and the questions worth asking the being.
Nothing Is Permanent uses the Tibetan sand mandala as the best picture I know of the idea. The universe built the same way, your body as a mandala, why no two lifetimes are the same, and being thankful while it is here.
168 Hours starts from the one thing every one of us has in equal measure. Where the hours go, a week on paper, the half hour that changes things, and you as the admin of your own time.
Signs from Loved Ones Who Have Passed is written to be read gently. Why they use signs, the common ones, how to tell a sign from a coincidence, asking for a sign, and what to do when nothing comes.
Australian Birds as Messengers looks at four of the birds we see most: the willie wagtail, the magpie, the kookaburra and the black cockatoo. It opens with a word of respect for the stories that belong to their Aboriginal custodians, and ends with noticing the message.
Do Pets Who Have Passed Visit? answers yes. Animals in the spirit world, a visitor of my own, how they let you know, asking them to visit, grieving an animal, and the rainbow bridge.
Grief and the Spirit World holds the two parts of you in the room when someone dies, the human who misses them and the spirit being who understands. What I learned from Ian, a few gentle things that help, and a plain request to get support.
Past Life Memories is about the moments when a place, a smell or a name stirs something older. Soul memory, two memories of my own, how they come, and children who remember.
Where to begin
Remember who you are. Everything on these pages is detail around that.
You do not need to settle any of it today. Read a page, put it down, and watch what comes up over the next few weeks. Take what fits and put the rest on the shelf. It will keep.
You will be your own teacher. All I will do is help you remember what you already know.
If you would like this read against your own chart, my readings are here.
