Where We Come From

Some of what follows will feel familiar the moment you read it. Some of it will sound like something out of a science fiction film. I will lay it out the way I understand it, and then leave you alone with it. There is nothing here to argue about.

Take what fits and put the rest on the shelf. It will keep.

Home

Our home is the spirit world.

We choose to come to this physical plane to learn. Each time we come, we travel with the same twenty to twenty five spirit beings, and we take on different roles in each other's lives. The Soul Groups page goes into that company.

At the moment your spirit connects with the human body you chose, your consciousness becomes human, with all the limits that come with it. You forget, mostly, where you came from. That forgetting is part of the arrangement. The Why You Are Here page looks at the agreement made before you arrived.

The connection between your spirit and your body stays until the body dies, and then you go home.

So the first answer to where we come from is simple. We come from home, and we go back there.

Three kinds of memory

The rest of the answer sits in memory, and memory is bigger than most people think.

There is your human memory. That is this life, from your first breath in this body until this morning.

There is your soul memory. That is the memory you carry between lives, the sum of every human experience you have had and everything you learned or unlearned along the way.

And there is creation memory. That is the memory of the oneness of everything, of before you were created and after, and of returning to the oneness. It is a bit of a head spin, and you can leave it to one side for now.

The question of where we come from is a question for soul memory.

Try this

Say this out loud, to yourself.

"I am not of this world."

Notice what happens.

For a lot of people there is a strong feeling of familiarity, and very often a tingle as well, down the arms or at the back of the neck. That is your soul memory being jogged into your awareness.

If nothing happens, that is fine too. Come back to it another day.

Ten things to sit with

There are a few things I will ask you to simply take as given for now. Hold them just long enough to see the picture they make, and decide later what you believe.

1. Nobody alive today is having their first lifetime on Earth.
2. We began as a kind of hybrid, an alien soul spirit joined to a human body.
3. The human body carries coded information in its DNA that remembers that beginning.
4. Your spiritual abilities are far beyond what you currently see them as.
5. Those abilities are linked to the soul memory of the spirit that came into the human you.
6. Humans in the distant past lived to great ages because of that hybrid makeup.
7. Those humans also had significant spiritual abilities.
8. Over time, those abilities have slowly been forgotten.
9. We are now coming into an age when it is time to wake them up again.
10. Everything I teach is here to help you remember your true nature.

The pull of the stars

Humanity has a fascination with the stars, and I do not think that is an accident.

Built into our DNA is a connection to the time when we were created using an alien technology and biology. When you look at the night sky there is a sense of belonging, and a desire to go there. Most people dismiss it as fantasy, a whim that will never come to anything.

I cannot be certain that we will travel to the stars in this lifetime. I am certain it will happen within the next generation or two.

There is so much knowledge in all of us that just needs to be woken up. It is time we all started to realise our full potential.

Then there is Sirius. Ancient monuments, including Göbekli Tepe and the pyramids, have alignments to Sirius that match where it sat in the sky when they were built. Earth was once visited by beings from Sirius. It is my own belief that if we focus on Sirius, they are likely to return.

You cannot miss it. It is the brightest star in the night sky, and it is one of the few stars you can see from both hemispheres. In Perth it is visible from early December, and if you live elsewhere the date will be different. Go outside on a clear night, find it, and focus on it. Notice what you sense. There is a special energy there.

What I have seen myself

I will tell you a little of my own, because it would be unfair to ask you to sit with all this without it.

I have always believed I am an alien in a human body. I say that plainly, and I know how it sounds.

I remember most of my dreams, and they tend to be different to most people's. In one I was a shape shifting alien on a remote planet, trying to find my way to somewhere I did not know. The symbolism of that is not lost on me.

And once, looking through photographs taken by the Mars rover, I came across an image of an object and immediately had a picture of myself standing in a town square, looking at that same object. I was tall and dark skinned. I have no idea what gender I was.

I do not offer these as proof of anything. They are mine. You will have your own, if you have not had them already, and yours will count for far more to you than mine.

One and many

There is one more piece, and it can tie people in knots.

We are all one. But we are not. But we are.

From a spiritual view, we are all part of the oneness that makes up the universe, and we can connect to any part of it through our higher self. From a human view, we came here with an agreement that we are individuals, here to learn individual lessons for our higher purpose. That higher purpose is to return to the oneness we are part of. Except we are already part of it. And yet we are individuals, with individual thoughts, feelings and experiences.

This duality causes a lot of confusion on a spiritual path. Some people lose track of where they are heading, and some stop learning altogether while they try to find their way through it.

The easiest way forward is to accept that you are both, and that you can connect to either side whenever you choose. The Spirit and the Higher Self page goes further into that.

Sitting with it

You do not have to decide any of this today.

Read it once and put it down. Go and look at the stars. Say the words out loud again another day and see whether the feeling has changed. The Long Cycles and the Hundredth Monkey page carries the same story forward, towards where we are going.
