Perth Spiritual Learning

That is the whole of it, and everything on this site grows out of that one sentence. If it lands somewhere in you, even if you cannot say why, you are in the right place. If it does not, stay a while anyway. It took me a long time to work out what it meant, and I had a head start.

Who I am

My name is Donald. I live in Perth, Western Australia, and I have been meditating, healing, reading for people and teaching this work for more than forty years.

I did not choose it. My earliest memories include visions and a sense of things that I later found out was unusual. My mother was psychic and would not admit it, and the one time I told her what I had seen, she gave me an aspirin and sent me for a nap. So I kept it to myself, which turned out to be the best thing that could have happened, because nobody ever talked me out of it.

By my late teens I was studying healing. By my early twenties I was teaching groups of people meditation, psychic development, psychometry, mediumship and healing. I used the tarot heavily for years, found where it stopped, and moved on to working with nothing in my hands at all. I taught on and off for about thirty years, stepped back when life asked me to, and came back when it was time.

These days I write something every single day, and I do personal readings that bring the tarot, numerology and astrology together against your own chart. This site is my life's work, written down.

What you will find here

The teaching is written down here for anyone who comes looking.

There are two halves to the site, and they do different jobs.

The Library is the settled teaching. It is organised into ten areas, and you can read them in any order. Foundations, for what we are and why we are here. Meditation and Grounding, which is where everything else starts. Energy Work, for how it moves through your body, the earth, water, sound and memory. Your Abilities, for the psychic senses every one of us was born with. Healing, as I practise it and teach it. The Inner Work, which is the harder material about fear and letting go and the lessons that get louder when we ignore them. Relationships and Guidance, for the people placed in your life and the help that comes with them. The Bigger Picture, for reincarnation, what happens when we die, and where we come from. Tarot, Numerology and Divination, for the tools I read with and how you can start reading them yourself. And Astrology, for the Western, Vedic, Chinese, Mayan and Celtic tree ways of reading a birth. It changes slowly, because the things in it have been true for a long time.

The Daily Posts are the heartbeat. I write one every day, and every one of them lands here. Some are teaching. Some are a question to sit with over a cup of tea. Mondays are the week ahead for every sign. Thursdays are a tarot card. Sundays are the long read. If you want to know that I am alive and still at it, that is where to look.

If you are new

It tells you who I am in a little more detail, how I teach, and the two things I ask everyone to do before anything else. Neither of them is complicated. One of them is grounding, and the other is thirty minutes a day. Between them they are the difference between people who get somewhere on this path and people who give up feeling worse than when they began.

I will tell you now what I tell every student. You will be your own teacher. You will be your own guide. All I will do is help you to remember what you already know. What you believe is yours, the work is yours, and my job is to show you what I have seen and then get out of the way.

Readings

If you would like all of this brought to bear on your own life, I do personal readings.

The tarot, your numerology and your birth chart, read together, by me, written for you and delivered as a document you can keep and come back to. They are for the moment you are standing at a fork and cannot see which way is which, or when you want to understand why your life keeps going the way it goes. The readings page explains what each one is and what it costs, plainly, in Australian dollars with the GST included, and there is nothing hidden.

One more thing

I am not here to tell you what to think.

I have seen a lot in forty years, and some of it will sound strange until you have seen it too. Take what is useful. Question what does not sit right, and question me while you are at it, because that is how I taught myself and it is the only way it sticks. Use what works and leave the rest on the shelf for later. It will still be here.

Love you all.

Donald
