Two of Wands
Minor Arcana, the suit of Wands, the Two. Element: fire.

The world in your hand, and a decision about where to go next.
The picture
A man in a red cap and a long red cloak stands on the battlements of a castle, looking out over water and hills. He holds a small globe in one hand and a wand in the other. A second wand stands beside him, fixed to the wall with a ring. On the stonework nearby is a small emblem of red roses and white lilies crossed over each other.
Upright
Two is the number of choice. The Ace gave you the spark. Now you have to decide where to point it.
This man has done well. He has a castle, a view, and the whole world small enough to hold in one hand. And he is standing still, looking out, weighing it up. The Two of Wands is planning: the stage where you can see the possibilities and have not yet committed to one.
One wand is fixed to the wall. The other is in his hand. Part of him is settled and safe. Part of him wants to go. That tension is the card.
Upright, I read it as a good place to be. You have enough under you to take a risk, and the view is wide enough to choose well.
Reversed
Reversed, I read the Two as too much or too little. Too much, and you plan forever, turning the globe over in your hand and never leaving the castle. Too little, and you rush off without looking, and wonder later why you ended up somewhere you never chose.
It can also be turned inward. The choice you are really facing is between the safe life you have built and a restless part of yourself you have been ignoring. Ask which one you think about at three in the morning. That is the wand you are actually holding.
When it turns up
If you knew you could not get it wrong, which way would you go?
