A little after 7 o’clock on the evening of Tuesday 21 July, Perth time, the Moon reaches its First Quarter in Libra.
Look up after dark and you will see it, a clean half lit Moon hanging in the western sky.
The First Quarter is the halfway point between the New Moon and the Full Moon.
Last Tuesday, 14 July, at the New Moon in Cancer, many of us planted a seed. A hope, an intention, a small quiet beginning.
The First Quarter is the moment that seed first pushes against the soil.
It is the point of tension in the cycle. The early excitement has worn off, the real work has started, and something usually pushes back. A doubt creeps in, or a delay, or a person who just does not get it.
Do not read that as a reason to give up. It is the exact moment the cycle asks you to commit.
The Moon is in Libra tonight, the sign of balance, fairness and relationship. So the resistance this week often shows up as a question of balance. Between what you want and what someone else needs. Between charging ahead and keeping the peace.
Libra does not ask you to abandon your seed. It asks you to adjust your grip, make it fair, and keep going.
So if something you started last week is meeting resistance right now, good.
That is not failure.
That is the seed working.
