Knight of Wands
Minor Arcana, the suit of Wands, the Knight. Element: fire.

All action, all fire, and off at a gallop.
The picture
A knight in armour rides a horse that rears up with its front legs off the ground. He holds a sprouting wand up in one hand. A red plume streams from his helmet, and his yellow tunic is patterned in black. Behind him are pointed hills in a dry, sandy landscape.
Upright
The Knight is movement and pursuit, and he often goes too far in the direction of his suit. In Wands that means pure fire: passion, courage, impatience, the urge to go now.
This is the card of acting on the spark. A move, an adventure, a bold decision, a new relationship that starts at full speed. It brings energy and charm and a willingness to try anything. Life around him is rarely dull.
The horse is barely under control. That is the Knight of Wands in one image. He gets there fast, and sometimes he gets somewhere he did not mean to go.
The Knight can be a person, an approach, or a part of you, and the age and gender of the figure do not limit who it describes. When he turns up, ask whether this moment needs his speed.
Reversed
Reversed, I read him as too much or too little. Too much, and the fire burns through everything: rash decisions, a quick temper, starting things and leaving them. Too little, and the horse never leaves the stable, all talk of the adventure and none of the ride.
To tell which, look at the last few things you started. Did you finish them, or gallop off to the next one? Or did you never start at all?
When it turns up
Where do you need to go faster, and where do you need to slow down?
