The moon is asking for a gentle unclenching

Tomorrow morning, Thursday 6 August, at 10:21 Perth time, the moon reaches her Last Quarter in steady, patient Taurus.

A month ago the Last Quarter came in fiery Aries and asked for one brave, clean cut. Taurus does the slow unclenching.

Think of a fist that has been closed so long the fingers ache. You do not force a fist like that open. You warm it, and you let it open one finger at a time.

That is this moon.

Taurus rules the body, the possessions, the comforts, the things we hold. So this release is practical and physical.

The drawer that will not close. The clothes that carry old versions of you. The comfort that stopped comforting, the treat that stopped being a treat, the routine that is really just a rut with good manners.

And in this 9 month of completion, the timing could not be better.

Choose one held thing this week. Warm it. Thank it. Set it down slowly.

Letting go does not have to be dramatic to be real. Some of the biggest releases in a life look, from the outside, like someone quietly cleaning out a cupboard.
