We have just crossed the solstice, and with it the Sun has moved into Cancer. After weeks of restless Gemini air, the mood turns softer and more inward.
Cancer is the sign of home, family, roots and feeling. It asks not what do I think, but what do I need, and where do I feel safe.
The week opens with a First Quarter Moon in Libra on Monday 22 June, a small push to act on something in your relationships or to restore a balance that has tipped. From there the Moon deepens through the week, building toward a full Moon in Capricorn at month’s end.
So the thread running under these days is the old tug between home and the world, between what nourishes you in private and what is expected of you in public.
The numerology agrees with the sky. June is a 7 month, a time for reflection, rest and trusting what you cannot yet see. And yet the Chinese year of the Fire Horse, deep in its own Horse month, keeps spurring everyone forward.
