The universe gives you guidance that starts as a soft whisper.
A passing thought. A small unease you cannot quite name. A one line remark from a stranger that lands harder than it should.
That is the whisper, and it is always the first offer.
If you listen at the whisper stage, the lesson costs you almost nothing. A small change, a quiet correction, done.
But we are human, and we are busy, and whispers are easy to talk ourselves out of.
So the volume goes up.
The whisper becomes a tap on the shoulder. The tap becomes a knock. The knock becomes a door slamming somewhere in your life.
And if you still do not listen, the whispers become thermonuclear.
The job ends, the back gives out, the relationship boils over, the thing you would not look at arrives in a form you cannot look away from.
At that point you realise you should have listened a long time ago.
We have all been there, and that includes me. It is part of being human.
The teaching is not to live in fear of the explosion. It is to get better at hearing the whisper.
And this is a good week for it. After last week’s eclipse, the sky has gone quiet again, and the guidance has gone back to its normal volume.
Soft.
So find some stillness today and listen for what is being offered at a whisper. It is the cheapest the lesson will ever be.
Who here has had a thermonuclear lesson that started as a soft whisper? What did you learn from it?
