The Library
The Library
This is the settled teaching.
Everything in here has been true for a long time and will still be true when you come back to it. I have taught most of it for forty years, in living rooms and community halls and, these days, to a group of people I have never met in person. I have watched it work for hundreds of them. It changes slowly, because the things in it do not change much, and when I do change something it is because I have learned better, and I say so.
How it is arranged
There are eight areas. Each one opens with a short introduction from me that tells you what is in it and why it matters, and then the pages under it take one thing at a time and go as deep as that thing needs.
Some pages are short, because the idea is simple and dressing it up would only get in the way. Some run long, because there is an exercise in them that needs walking through properly, or because I have watched people get it wrong in the same three ways for decades and I would rather warn you now. Where a page leans on something taught elsewhere, it says so, and points you there.
Read the areas in any order. It is a library. Nobody is checking.
If you are new
Start with Meditation and Grounding.
I mean that. Everything else in here depends on the two things in that area, and I have watched too many people skip them, go straight to the exciting material about auras and spirit and past lives, and end up worse off than when they started. Your house has an electrical earth so that a dangerous current has somewhere to go. Your body works the same way. Until you can ground, everything you pick up stays in you.
Then thirty minutes a day. There is no way around that one, and I have spent a fair bit of my life looking.
After those two, go wherever your curiosity takes you.
If you are not new
Then you already know most of what I am about to say, and you may find yourself disagreeing with some of the rest. Good. I would rather you argued with me than nodded.
A few of the pages will tell you something you learned differently from someone else. The healing pages, for instance, say that healing flows through the crown and that heart chakra healing is a misframe, and I know that runs against a lot of what is taught. Read it, try it, and keep what works. That is the only test I have ever trusted.
The eight areas
Foundations
The starting ground for everything I teach: what we are, why we are here, how to begin without picking up the wrong things.
Read FoundationsMeditation and Grounding
The daily practice everything else depends on: grounding, meditation, brain waves, and the thirty minutes a day that matter.
Read Meditation and GroundingEnergy Work
How energy moves through the body, the earth, water, sound and memory, and how to raise, sense, project and clear it.
Read Energy WorkYour Abilities
The psychic senses everybody has: the clairs, psychometry, mediumship, auras, and telling the real thing from Monkey Mind.
Read Your AbilitiesHealing
Healing as I practise and teach it: through the crown, with permission, with clear energy and protection for the healer.
Read HealingThe Inner Work
The harder material: who you really are, fear, denial, letting go, the lessons that get louder, and the poison of hate.
Read The Inner WorkRelationships and Guidance
The people placed in your life and the guidance that comes with them: reason, season, lifetime, soul groups, guides, dreams.
Read Relationships and GuidanceThe Bigger Picture
The big questions: reincarnation, what happens when we die, seeing spirit, where we come from, and why you are here at all.
Read The Bigger PictureWhere the teaching comes from
None of it is out of a book, though I have read plenty.
It comes from forty years of sitting, of working on people, of reading for them, and of teaching groups and watching what stuck and what did not. It comes from my own mistakes, of which there have been a good many, and some of them are in here as warnings. It comes from the people I have taught, who asked the questions I had not thought to ask and sent me off to find the answers. And a fair bit of it came to me in meditation and was confirmed later, sometimes years later, from three separate directions, which is my rule for when to trust something.
The daily posts on this site are the same teaching, live, in the order life happens to bring it up. The Library is the same material sorted, settled and put on the shelf where you can find it.
How I would like you to use it
You will be your own teacher. You will be your own guide. All I will do is help you to remember what you already know.
So read a page, then put it down and try the thing in it. Do not read four pages in a row and call that progress. One exercise done for a week teaches more than the whole library read in an afternoon, and I built it that way on purpose.
Take what is useful. Question what does not sit right. If something in here raises a question you would rather not ask in front of everybody, send me a message. And if a page helps, the best thing you can do with it is pass it to someone who needs it.
Love you all.
Donald
