Everything on this site grows from it. The meditation, the grounding, the energy work, the psychic senses, the healing, the harder inner work, the way we handle the people in our lives, and the bigger questions about where we come from and where we go. All of it sits on that one idea.

Who I am

My name is Donald McGlinn and I have been doing this work for more than forty years.

My earliest childhood memories include visions and a sense of things that I later discovered was unusual. My mother was psychic and denied it. The one time I told her about a vision, she gave me an aspirin and sent me to have a nap. Go figure.

So I kept what I saw to myself, which meant nobody ever suppressed it. By my late teens I was studying healing. By my early twenties I was teaching groups of people psychic development, meditation, psychometry, mediumship and healing. I used the tarot heavily for a while, found its limits, and moved on to working with no tools at all, just my sense of things. I taught on and off for about thirty years, took a long break when life asked me to, and came back to it because it was time.

Today I run the Perth Spiritual Learning group on Facebook, where I post every single day, and I do personal readings that bring the tarot, numerology and astrology together against your own chart. I live in Perth, Western Australia.

What this place is

This site is my life's work, written down.

It is here so that a stranger can find it, read it, and take what is useful without having to ask my permission or pay for anything. The teaching is free. It always has been.

There are two halves to it.

The Library is the settled teaching, organised into eight areas and written to be read in any order. It changes slowly, because the things in it have been true for a long time.

The Daily Posts are the heartbeat. Every day I write to the group, and every one of those posts lands here too. Some are teaching. Some are a question to sit with. Some are what the moon or the planets are doing this week and what that asks of you. If you want to know that I am alive and still at it, that is where to look.

Where to begin

Start with the two basics, because everything else depends on them.

The first is grounding. Your house has an electrical earth so that dangerous current has somewhere to go. Your body works on the same principle. Until you can ground, everything you pick up stays in you, and that is why so many people who start this path give up feeling worse than when they began. Grounding is in the Meditation and Grounding area, and it is the first thing I teach anyone.

The second is thirty minutes a day. Meditation is the foundation of all of it. Without it nothing else takes root, and with it most of the rest arrives on its own. There is no shortcut to that, and I have looked.

After those two, go wherever your curiosity takes you. If you want to know why you can feel what other people are feeling, go to Your Abilities. A word on how I teach

My job is to show you what I have seen, what I have found to work, and where the traps are, and then get out of the way.

What you believe is yours. The work is yours too.

You will be your own teacher. You will be your own guide. All I will do is help you to remember what you already know.

All I ask is a desire to learn, a real effort to progress, and an enquiring mind that will question me.
