Made, or left as it is

A question for your Friday.

You get out of bed in the morning. Do you stop and make it, every time, before the day begins? Or do you leave it as it is and get on with your day?

Be honest. There is no right answer here.

Some of us cannot start the day until the bed is straight and the room is in order. It settles something, a small square of the world put right before everything else.

Some of us think a made bed is a waste of a perfectly good two minutes, and the day is for living, not tidying.

And plenty of us are one way at home and the complete opposite at work.

Which is where it gets interesting.

Because the bed is never really about the bed.

Made, or left as it is?
