In Chinese astrology, 2026 is the Year of the Fire Horse.
And since Monday 15 June, we have also moved into the Horse month.
So right now it is fire on fire, Horse on Horse.
This is the most driven, restless, go go go stretch of the whole year. It is the energy of momentum, of bold moves, of wanting to start everything at once and chase it all down.
You can probably feel it. That itch to gallop.
And there is nothing wrong with that. The Horse is meant to run.
But here is what the Horse knows that we so often forget.
Even the fastest horse has to come back to the stable.
A horse that gallops and never rests does not run forever. It burns hot, and then it drops.
This is the same quiet lesson the numbers are whispering this month, because June is a 7, a month for rest and going within.
Momentum is a gift. But it is carried from a settled centre, not a frantic one.
You do not get further by running yourself into the ground. You get further by knowing when to gallop, and when to head home and rest.
The fire will still be there when you come back to it. In fact, it will burn cleaner.
So ask yourself today. Where in your life are you galloping right now?
And where do you need to head back to the stable, even just for a day?
